Shiro Wat – Ethiopian Pea Stew

1 1/2 cup Mit’in Shiro, (see Recipe)
2 cup Water
1 cup Red onions, chopped
1 1/2 cup Oil
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp Garlic
Directions
Fry onions with oil in pan until brown. Add water and let it boil. Sprinkle Mit’in Shiro a little at a time, stirring to prevent lumps. Add spices and cook until sauce is smooth and thick. Remove from heat. Shiro Wat can be served hot or cold. If you wish to serve it hot heat slowly over a small flame.
